~> The Grudge of the Captain <~

In this post, I’m not going to give specific names and places. Anyway, let’s start.
On a supposed-to-be-happy-to-see-my-classmates-again-but-was-ruined-by-a-certain-someone Monday, … Umm, do I need to explain?! Okei, my day was ruined by a certain “HB”. I was so excited to go to a place for students that day to see my classmates and friends again. When I saw them, I was really happy, especially when I saw “orange”. At around 11 am, we sat on a bench on a particular place to wait for a certain friend. Then, this “HB” came and sat with us.

Let’s go back to my last post. I said there that I’m going to take Architecture then Civil Engineering as my courses.

Now, let’s go back to the present. Thanks to this “HB” who discouraged me to become what I’ve been dreaming to be when I was still in Grade School [an architect], now I am not sure if I’ll still pursue my chosen course. Screw you a million times, ##### or “HB”. I really hate what you did, I’ll never forget this. Because of that, I HATE YOU TOO!! Seryoso na ito. Alam mo ba, YOU are next!! YOU are next.. HAHAHA!! Raarrrr..

Uy, wag kayo matakot sa akin ha.. Remember, just don’t do stupid stuff especially to us sessionmates so that you will not be next.

Thanks!!

*stay tuned for my next post, the Awards Night for our class, 4-Berchmans.

~> School-Year-End Post <~

Hello.. Okei, first of all, complaints.. Eh, halos na-ulcer kami nung 12 - 1am dahil walang pagkaing hinanda. Midnight snack kung baga. Yun lang na reason ang masasabi ko for now, baka may masaktan kung sabihin ko pa ang iba.

Next stop, my plans.. I've already made my final decision. I'll be studying at University of Mindanao aka UM. I'll be taking Architecture then Civil Engineering next. So, I think I'm gonna study for at least seven years. Yah, kapuy! But I'll just do it so I will be successful in the future. I really hope I will be. So, you can always run to me and let me design your house. hehe..:o)

If we have class or batch reunion, please don't forget to contact me. If you don't know my number, you can always ask my fellow sessionmates [Alfred, Althea, Athina, Geda, Ilwyn, Marielle, Trista]. Thanks!!

Special acknowledgments:
  1. Sessionmates ~> for always being there. Pag may laag, text niyo ako ha. Bantay lang mo.:o) Laag tayo twice a month. I love you all!!
  2. Quatro-Berx ~> for the fun, even though we're not so united. I love you all!!
  3. "Orange" ~> for making me happy, kahit di mo alam. I love you!!
  4. Sir Raldz Suarez ~> for supervising us during the farewell, and every school day of our fourth year. We love you!!
  5. Ateneo ~> for accepting us as your graduates and students. Kahit problemado sa pambayad..:o) We love you!!

That's all, babooch!! Stay updated, lalo na ngayon. Hindi na tayo magkita-kita.

~> Bye High School <~

gamay na lang.. graduate na ko..

Yes, I'll be saying byebye to high school really soon. Uhhh... huhu.. Really sad. It's just like saying goodbye to fun and saying hello to boredom. Yeah, I feel like I'm not gonna enjoy college. But of course, I'll do my best to make this stage fun.

I hope my close friends, like the SESSIONMATES, and I will still meet this summer and the "boring" life ahead, college. I'm not really that sure if I'll study at AdJU aka Ateneo Jacinto. It's very expensive there. Hopefully, I could still study there para AdDU forever and ever award na. Ngunit, baka sa UM na ako matapon, but still I hope we will still go out pag may laag tayo. Kung di niyo ako i-join sa laag niyo, wawa naman ang founder ng SESSIONMATES. huhu.:o( *drama* Please pray na AdDU [or AdJU] pa rin ako magstudy for college.. haaay..

Sige, yun lang.. drama post lang.. babooch!!

~> Quatro-Berx, The Best!! <~

Champion kami sa ballroom dancing!! Haha!! What a happy week!! The best talaga ang quatro berx aka 4-Berchmans!! This will really be a great remembrance for us all, ang naging champion ang Berx sa last presentation ng batch natin sa High School.

We had our fourth quarter PEHM Culmination Activity for the fourth year yesterday, March 4, 2006. Every section in the batch is supposed to present ballroom dances within five to eight minutes. We started this activity at around 9:30 am at our beloved and colorful sports complex.

Our class had our costumes sewed for the amount of P350 [for the girls, the boys are supposed to pay only P300]. Yes, it’s very expensive for just a “small” costume. The boys just had the top sewn while all the skirts of the girls were above the knees. There were different looks and colors for the four kinds of dance we had. The rumba’s color is orange, the cha-cha is pink, the meringue is green and the swing is yellow. In fact, the costume is not part of the criteria.

The rumba pairs are Saly and Paolo, Lara and Sol, Kyla and Alfred, France and Emman, and Louraine and JP. The cha-cha pairs are Hannah and Ilwyn, Sherryl and Kurt, Krishna and Akeem, and Nicole and Harvey. The meringue pairs are Geda and Keane, Tin and Chady, Onaiza and Chris, Hazel and JP, Dothy and Alfred, and Marielle and Ilwyn. The swing pairs are of course, JP and I [Cari], Alfred and Ishee, Akeem and Icy, Kim and Kit, Emman and July, Kurt and Athina, Sol and Thea, Cenon and Angeli, Neil and Trista, and Harvey and Lady.

In fact, the swing steps were just made last Friday, March 3. We just had two hours to practice the steps. It just shows that we are really good. Hehe..Okei, let me share another fact. Althea, Athina, Trista and I just bought watches last Thursday, March 2. We had same designs but different colors. I had the orange watch, Althea had the pink, Athina had the yellow, and Trista had the green. The colors are the same with the colors of our costume, without us noticing. I am rumba, Althea is cha-cha, Athina is swing, and Trista is meringue. O diba, ang saya?! We wore the watches while our class was presenting. Wala lang. Just thought that the watches were good luck for us.

Okei, so that’s all for now, Baboo!!:o) Champion kami!!

~> Junior-Senior Promenade <~

Last Feb 24, we had our JS Prom held at NCCC Mall Convention Center [that's in the fourth floor, incase you don't know]. Instead of wearing the usual gowns, we were told to wear "smart casual" dresses. There were some "limitations" or "requirements" on the type of dress we were supposed to wear, like no backless.

I wore a "bloody red" dress, which I just bought from a store, and a pair of silver sandals, which I think don't match with the color of my dress. I had a grey bag with dangling grey sequins. I had NO accessories at all due to rush, and consciousness in the taxi that I just forgot about them. I wore a not-so-heavy-not-so-light make-up and I had my hair curled at the tips [better post the picture next time, can't really explain it].

The Mr. and Miss Seniors are Czarlo dela Victoria and Ancel Brillantes. They also became the Prom King and Queen. The Mr. and Miss Juniors are Lorenzo Borromeo and a girl I do not know the name.

The event was nice but I didn't really appreciate the Rigodon [spell check] part. The dance was not really nice and so is the formation.

I would like to apologize to my prom date, Chris Valenzona from 3-Pignatelli. I wasn't able to talk to you well because of some reasons. First, I was facing the stage during the whole program and my back was the one facing you. I just like to watch anything that is happening on stage in a party. I should have seated at the seat located at your left that time so that we could have talked while watching the program. Second, I am quite shy in facing and talking to a person that is not really close to me, especially to boys. Next, while listening to the very long speeches, I got bored and got quite sleepy. I am really sorry if I disappointed you.

So, that's all for now. Baboo!!:o)

~> CSAT Results and NERD stuff <~

oThis afternoon, during our guidance time [our last period], the CSAT [stands for College Scholastic Aptitude Test] results were already given. There were these ranks and scores that really made me feel nervous. I was really hoping to pass that CSAT so that I could have a chance to stay and study in AdDU and get a scholarship so my mom would agree with my desired school.

Last January 12 [thanks to my handbook, I still got the date], we Seniors took this CSAT in the morning. Let me just put this, we were arranged alphabetically and I sat with an extra plastic chair to put my tired legs on. Back to the test, the first subtest was English and it was quite easy. The second subtest was Math and I didn't answer all the items because there were so many numbers already and they irritate my eyes. Really! And I also don't know the other items that's why I skipped that part and answered the third subtest which was Science. Argh! I hate this subject and so was the subtest. I answered the first ten numbers but then I stopped because there were so many words and they irritate my eyes and brain. For short, they irritate me. So, I answered the fourth subtest which was Inductive Reasoning. This was the easiest part for me. There were shapes and letters and they show some patterns.

Now, you should know why I felt nervous when the results were given. I wasn't able to answer many items.

The results [typed in a paper, the size of a half sheet] were given alphabetically. Abarquez.. Angeles, top 1!! Wow, I felt more nervous. Bagares.. Basa, top 1!! And another one. Estoque.. Fabregar, top 1!! And another of them. Now, I am nervous. Lee.. Macayra.. I stood up and went beside the teacher. I said, "Miss, absent si Mercado." So, she called out my name and I told her not to tell my rank to the class. But it was too late. She said, "top 2" I was shocked. I heard Alfred say, "Wow Cari, top 2!" I really was happy. I didn't expect to get that rank!! I wasn't able to hear the others' rank because I was already jumping and screaming because of joy.

My scores?! Here they are:
English ~> 655 ; Math ~> 700 ; Science ~> 632 ; Inductive Reasoning ~> 700
Standard Score ~> 701 ; Percentile Rank ~> 98 [ 100 - 98 = 2 ~> top 2 ]

I am not a NERD as what Athina, Thea and Marielle are already calling me. I don't study. If I do, maybe just two hours a month to sum it all up. There is a very big difference between NERD and SMART [but I'm not telling that I am very smart, maybe just a little].

So that's all for now.. babooch!!:o)
